Parry Sound: Nesbitt Trail

Ardbeg is home to 100+ kilometers of ATV/Snowmobile trails. There is one designated hiking trail. The Nesbitt Trail. “The trail is in memory of Ricky Nesbitt, a life-long resident of Ardbed” reads the sign. The Nesbitt trail is an atv trail that starts and ends on Clear Lake Rd. The first 800 meters follows an OFSC trail and then there is a fork.

The trail is very obvious to follow. There are signs and markers frequently throughout the trail. Near the end of the trail there is a beautiful sandy beach and campfire spot.

From the beach it is only a few hundred meters to the end of the trail.

It had been a fairly rainy September and October so the trail was wet in some places but very manageable in running shoes. Here is a short video tour of Clear Lake: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXMWVXYLTO8
