Big Sound Shoreline off Nobel Beach

Josee and I’s friend Emma came up for the weekend. We had promised her a snowshoe trip. It was a beautiful sunny day not a cloud in the sky. The trail itself wasn’t so much as a trail than a path along the shoreline. We could have walked along the ice judging by the recent snowmobile tracks. When we got to the high point the views of the big sound were quite beautiful. (picture at the top)

From the high point we kept on trekking to sawdust bay were we discovered a really nice campsite. We hung out there for a while and ate our lunch.

From there we went to check a small set of rapids, then returned.
