Gatineau Park: Healey Shelter and Sentier des Loups

December 27th, 2016
I was down for the Christmas break so I decided to go for a snowshoe with my mom. We parked at P15 and hiked all the way to Healey Shelter. For the most part its a flat trail with a few elevation changes. There is a tricky steep hill near the start that was fairly icy. They changed the parking location which ended up adding another 3 km to the route from previous years.

The next day I met up with a few friends and we decided to go snowshoeing. We decided to hit up Sentier Des Loups because the previous day I had gone to Healey Shelter. It’s a great trail with a decent elevation gain. There are several lookout points along the way.
